WASHINGTON, September 20, 2021 / PRNewswire / – The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) selected Coforma, through a partnership with digital services company TechFlow, to provide user experience (UX) design, content strategy, translation and development frontal for the set.gov website that enables the Family Reunification Task Force (Task Force), created by an executive order of President Biden in February 2021, to register families separated by the US government in the United States-Mexico border between January 20, 2017 and January 20, 2021.
Coforma, an agency that designs creative solutions and technology products for communities served by its government and business partners, has started work on visual design, user experience design, translation, content strategy and development on July 23. Coforma also provided translated content and designed the display of audio listening options in Spanish, Portuguese, K’iche and m’am. The website and form were tested iteratively with members of the working group as well as multilingual stakeholders with direct experience of family separation.
