Magnolia’s new plant care workshop will give you a green thumb

Houseplant newbies and DIY enthusiasts might want to sit down for this one: Magnolia Network is offering three new workshops this Friday, October 29. Expert-led classes will help you with everything from blossoming your houseplants to creating fall-themed decor inspired by Magnolia’s own extravagant displays.

Classes, which are part of Ateliers Magnolia, a collection of video series available in a self-paced format, include Caring for common houseplants taught by a plant specialist Hilton carter. As the name suggests, viewers will learn how to meet the needs of the most common houseplants, repotting and fertilizing with light and water. In Craft house projects, meanwhile, expert in DIY Jenni yolo guides viewers through how to make a variety of crafts including hand painting a wallpaper effect and making a leather headboard. If you are obsessed with seasonal Magnolia installations, you can learn how to create decor for your home by getting inspired in Fall DIY with Magnolia. The class is taught by the Magnolia exhibit team themselves and includes crafts like a dried fall wreath, natural dyed table runner, and pressed floral art.

All new courses will be available to discovery + subscribers on the Magnolia app, where other courses in the network are still available, including Carter’s first series of Magnolia workshops. Guide to indoor plants if you want to further refine your skills as a plant parent. Good learning!
