CONTRIBUTED CONTENT — Serving clients in Utah, Nevada, Arizona and beyond, Monument FX designs unique memorials that families can cherish for years to come. Their craftsmen treat each tombstone as a work of art.
Monumental effects invites the community to join them at their new headstone showroom on Fridays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be light refreshments and a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 12:30 p.m.
Everyone in attendance will have the opportunity to win $2,000 on any service from FX Industries, including headstones, metal fabrication or powder coating. All services are performed at the company’s headquarters in Hurricane.
Completed earlier this year, the 4,000 square foot warehouse is the largest indoor headstone showroom in southern Utah. Monument FX offers an extensive in-stock selection of granite and other natural materials to choose from.
Customers are encouraged to browse the temperature-controlled showroom, where everything is clearly marked, and take their time without being hassled by a salesperson. If they have any questions, the friendly staff are available to help make a selection.
“We really pride ourselves on customer service,” said General Manager Wil DuCrest. “It is often a private and sensitive moment when families choose these headstones, and we give them their space.”
Monument FX turns ideas into beautiful memorials designed to honor and celebrate the lives of loved ones. Each headstone is carefully crafted and completely unique. From design to delivery, their skilled artisans help bring any concept to life. Clients work one-on-one with the boutique’s design staff.
Monumental effects is proud to offer factory-direct pricing on stone, DuCrest said. They purchase blank slabs of granite, marble or natural stone in bulk and do all design and finishing work in-house, including sandblasting, lithochrome paint filling, laser engraving and installation.
“We take care of everything, from design to completion,” he added. “We do every detail.”
Monument FX artisans were trained by Ron Clamp, a third-generation stone carver from Elberton, Georgia, a small town hailed as the “Granite Capital of the World.” They can carve virtually any design and shape in nearly 20 domestic granite colors, plus a few marble options, and strive to ensure that each monument reflects the essence of the subject. Monument FX also creates memorial benches, mausoleums, urns and pet headstones.
Beyond memorials, Monument FX designs address markers, business signs, awards, trophies and plaques. Foreign exchange industries also offers laser technology to make unique gifts and souvenirs, as well as glasses, jewelry, watches, knives and even firearms. They can mark and engrave wood, stone, metals, plastics, glass and leather.
