The Okotoks Oilers are now in the regular season!

Facing the Camrose Kodiaks tomorrow (September 15) and Saturday, both games will air on The Eagle at 6:45 p.m.

Assistant general manager and experienced broadcaster Tyler King will commentate on both games, which both kick off at 7 p.m.

Invite your friends and family and join us for the 42nd Annual Terry Fox Run to help support Terry’s dream of a world without cancer.

The race starts at 11 a.m. at the beautiful Crystal Shores Beach House.

Suitable for families and pets, 2, 5 or 10 km run, walk, bike, skateboard, scooter, stroller and wheelchair.

Fountain Tire will again be there to distribute free hot dogs and water to all attendees.

On Monday, September 19, Royal Canadian Legion branches across the country will hold memorial services for Queen Elizabeth II.

Locally, High River Legion Branch 71 and Okotoks Legion Branch will hold their ceremonies at the respective cenotaphs in their towns.

In Okotoks, members will gather at the Cenotaph at approximately 10:30 a.m. for the service.

Okotoks Museum and Archives – Free

Piikanikoan invites the public to explore Blackfoot (Niitsitapi) cultural heritage through a combination of art, stories and songs. Through the lens of his own musical journey, Ira Provost, a member of the Piikani Nation, explores the importance of Blackfoot music, its origins and its influence on his life story.
This traveling exhibition is curated by Ira Provost and created by Galt Museum & Archives, Lethbridge.
